We are seeking an experienced and motivated Taproom Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our taproom. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality leadership skills, a passion for craft beer, and a hands-on approach to running a busy venue. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences, managing the team, and ensuring smooth, compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
Oversee daily taproom operations, ensuring consistently high service standards
Lead service during busy periods, maintaining efficiency and a positive atmosphere
Manage opening and closing procedures
Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of all front-of-house areas
Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage bar staff and supervisors
Create rotas, manage staffing levels, and approve timesheets
Motivate and develop the team through coaching and feedback
Act as the main point of contact for staff on shift
Customer Experience
Ensure every guest receives a warm, friendly, and memorable experience
Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and effectively
Build strong relationships with regular customers and the local community
Stock & Financial Control
Manage stock levels for beer, bar supplies, and consumables
Monitor wastage and support margin control
Handle cashing up, basic reporting, and liaise with senior management on performance
Quality & Brand Standards
Ensure all beers are served to BR3WERY quality standards
Maintain draft system hygiene and equipment care (with support where needed)
Uphold the BR3WERY brand values and taproom ethos at all times
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations
Promote responsible alcohol service
Identify and address any safety or operational risks

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff / Floor Supervisors. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has a passion for craft beer, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences.
For candidates stepping into a Floor Supervisor role, this position also includes supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the taproom and helping lead the team on shift.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
Deliver friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to all customers
Create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest
Assist customers with menu choices, beer recommendations, and general enquiries
Team Leadership (Floor Supervisor focus)
Lead by example and support bar staff during service
Assist with training and onboarding new team members
Delegate tasks effectively and help manage service flow during busy periods
Operational Support
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and customer areas
Stock fridges, glassware, and bar supplies as needed
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including basic cash handling
Quality Control
Ensure all drinks are served to BR3WERY quality standards
Monitor the condition and cleanliness of bar equipment and draft lines
Handle customer feedback or concerns professionally and promptly
Safety & Compliance
Follow all health and safety procedures
Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
Support compliance with licensing and local authority requirements
What We’re Looking For
Previous hospitality experience (bar or restaurant preferred)
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy environment
Interest in craft beer (knowledge is a bonus, not essential)
Supervisory experience is desirable but not required
Must be 18+

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Brewer to join our production team, with a clear development pathway into a Senior Brewer role. This position is ideal for someone with solid brewing fundamentals who is keen to take on increasing responsibility across production, quality control, packaging, and operational support.
Core Responsibilities (Brewer)
Brewing & Cellar Operations
Execute brew days according to established recipes and procedures
Manage cellar operations including fermentation monitoring, dry hopping, transfers, conditioning, and packaging
Maintain accurate brewing, fermentation, and packaging records
Clean and sanitise all brewing and cellar equipment to a high standard
Quality Control
Monitor beer quality throughout the process
Carry out basic QA checks (gravity, pH, sensory evaluation)
Identify and report any deviations or quality concerns
Packaging & Canning
Operate and maintain the Microcan canning machine, including setup, running, and cleaning
Support kegging, canning, labelling, and packaging processes
Ensure packaged beer meets BR3WERY quality and presentation standards
Stock, Logistics & Bar Support
Assist with restocking BR3WERY bars (kegs, cans, and cellar stock)
Coordinate transfers of beer between brewery and taproom locations
Support stock control of raw materials and finished goods
Prepare beers for distribution and internal supply
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all health & safety procedures
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safe working practices in the brewery
Support compliance with licensing, environmental, and food safety standards
Progression to Senior Brewer
As the role develops, responsibilities will expand to include:
Production Leadership
Lead brew days independently
Plan and manage production schedules aligned with taproom and wholesale demand
Train and support junior brewers or brewery assistants
Recipe Development & Process Improvement
Contribute to recipe development and pilot batches
Support optimisation of brewing processes and efficiency
Assist in scaling recipes while maintaining quality and consistency
Quality & Technical Oversight
Take ownership of beer quality and consistency
Lead sensory evaluation and quality discussions
Improve and refine QA procedures
Operational Responsibility
Assist with supplier relationships and raw material ordering
Support equipment maintenance planning
Act as a key link between production, packaging, and taproom teams
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Previous commercial brewing experience
Strong understanding of brewing and fermentation processes
Comfortable operating small-scale packaging equipment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Physically able to perform brewery and logistics duties
Passion for beer quality and consistency
Desirable:
Formal brewing qualification
Experience with micro-canning systems
Experience supporting bar or taproom cellar operations
Interest in process innovation or alternative brewing methods

Brewing & Cellar Support
Assist with brew days, including mashing-in, wort transfers, and cleaning
Support cellar operations such as fermentation monitoring, dry hopping, transfers, and conditioning
Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all brewery and cellar equipment
Packaging & Canning
Assist with kegging, labelling, and packaging
Support operation, cleaning, and breakdown of the micro-canning machine
Ensure packaged beer meets quality and presentation standards
Stock, Logistics & Bar Support
Help restock BR3WERY taprooms with kegs and cans
Assist with moving beer between brewery and bar locations
Support stock checks of raw materials and finished goods
Quality & Record Keeping
Assist with basic quality checks (gravity, temperature, visual checks)
Accurately complete brewing, fermentation, and packaging records
Flag any quality or process issues to the senior brewing team
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all health & safety and manual handling procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe brewery environment
Support compliance with food safety, environmental, and licensing requirements
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Strong interest in brewing and craft beer

Physically able to carry out brewery duties (lifting, cleaning, standing)
Ability to work as part of a small, hands-on team

Previous brewery, cellar, or production experience
